Are they not precious gifts like gems in this hasty age where communication is reduced to clicking a like button (<--I am guilty of this) and sometimes often my words escape me. If I'm silent, that's all it means.
I love your having a favourite rock, and no, I don't, but now I'm thinking probably granite because it shapes and colours my favourite landscapes. Thanks for getting me to think about that.kaslkaoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04041865957191874234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7694854491328172740.post-25348663960989874912018-04-12T11:34:29.107-04:002018-04-12T11:34:29.107-04:00I adore your abstracts. But, ohhhhhh the pale one with the negative space reminds me of a picture jasper, Biggs maybe, or even (gasp!) blue mountain (my favorite rock in the world- everyone has a favorite rock, right?). Very much woman-made and still very much organic. It looks like the desert to me, filled with subtle color and blinding light and vast open spaces. I love the dark lines...like a path winding low out of the past, up into the blazing sun, like outlines of the ephemeral against the relentless great wide open: sand spilling, or gauze tent walls billowing in the desert wind. I think the Saluki look is from that, the street dogs all have this subtle 'exotic' (to me) look, regardless of size and colour-genetically fascinating.
Michelle, cats coming up. I'm a cat-person too (love all cats, with dogs, I'm much more selective).kaslkaoshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04041865957191874234noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7694854491328172740.post-78392666094342728762016-03-12T12:04:03.925-05:002016-03-12T12:04:03.925-05:00Nope no reason to worry!
